Chapter 14 The Wicked! Control freak!

The greater the mutual trust between the masters and their warpets, the easier it would be to coordinate with each other’s consciousness.

Chen Chengduo’s trust in his hamster stemmed from Chen Chengduo’s years of combat experience and his comrades-in-arms’ trust. Shu Xiaohui’s trust in Chen Chengduo might have stemmed from the man’s effort to make him cereal noodles and a running wheel. 

In short, a certain hamster still had a very high mutual trust at the moment, so when Chen Chengduo closed his eyes to study the detailed composition of the spacecraft Peng Peng sent to him, Shu Xiaohui who was squatting on his shoulder, passively felt the huge information.

Although the hamster’s thinking capacity was a little insufficient, Chen Chengduo’s thinking power was very active. The little hamster was so passive that Chen Chengduo’s thinking took him flying.

Shu Xiaohui struggled with Chen Chengduo’s various thoughts. Originally, human’s space science and technology had never touched Shu Xiaohui’s field, let alone the higher technology of the Tates.

He really wanted to quit…

Why did Chen Chengduo kept on following his thoughts?

Finally, the dizzy Shu Xiaohui fell from Chen Chengduo’s shoulder and was quickly caught and supported by someone’s hand. He raised an eyebrow as he saw the distinct circles under the hamsters’ eyes, and couldn’t help but chuckle. It’s silly and cute…

Shu Xiaohui glared angrily! And don’t look at who did it!

“Boss, how are you?” Suo Bin asked.

Chen Chengduo shook his head. “It seems that we can only go back and let Professor Wei study it.”

Shu Xiaohui followed Chen Chengduo’s hand and climbed onto his shoulder again. He stretched out his paws and cried out, “Squeak…” Squeak!”

Come on, worship this hamster and I’ll give you the lucky Buff! It will surely make you enlightened and get this thing done in minutes!

Peng Peng, who was munching on a bread with his head down couldn’t resist it when he heard this. He raised his head up, looked at Shu Xiaohui, then covered his mouth and laughed. 

Shu Xiaohui waved his paws at him.

For Chen Chengduo, he couldn’t tell what each word in this stream of consciousness was. But he still understood what it means.

The corner of Chen Chengduo’s lips twitched. He turned his head and looked at Shu Xiaohui. He almost fainted from saving the child previously and now he dared to flaunt when he just recovered. Chen Chengduo reached out his hand, grabbed his small paws and poked his little cheek like a scratch. “Use your powers again and I’ll buckle your ration!”

Shu Xiaohui covered his little cheek with his short paws and stared at Chen Chengduo with black eyes. “Squeak!” A wicked person! Control freak!

Chen Chengduo was very strict. “Otherwise, if you no longer want the running wheel then I can turn it back into a metal knot in a second.”

Although Shu Xiaohui felt that Chen Chengduo was a little worried for him, but such a vicious threat! Then let this hamster disobey! Can’t he say anything good?

After turning into a hamster, Shu Xiaohui rarely had it easy and never lacked hardships to chew on. He was born with courage. He went into Chen Chengduo’s combat uniform’s collar. His small claws pierced along Chen Chengduo’s neck as he rushed up to his back. He drilled all the way into his waist and abdomen, running along someone’s tight muscles.

Chen Chengduo’s face was almost green. Having such a soft thing rolled across his skin felt so strange that he almost failed to control the surrounding metal from poking out the messy hamster inside.

When a certain hamster got to his waist, Chen Chengduo immediately covered it with his hand. Gritting his teeth, he took him out and poked him hard at his belly.

Shu Xiaohui who was poked, squeaked and screamed. He finally got out of Chen Chengduo’s hand and slipped down somebody’s arm. He got into Chen Chengduo’s backpack and found a walnut.

Four people who were watching a hamster-and-man squabble bowed their heads and laughed with satisfaction, including the stiff face  Shi Rui. While the three eager warpets looked at Chen Chengduo’s backpack as if they were looking at a fat prey.

Chen Chengduo snorted coldly. Several people touched their noses and quickly pulled back their ill-intentioned warpets.

Suo Bin coughed and said, “Peng Peng, since you have received such a message, can you see how the Tates communicate it?”

Peng Peng shook his head. Let alone a five-year-old, not yet in primary school, even the most capable child wouldn’t understand this space technology spanning a few light years. It is really a bit difficult even for strong people. Several people look at Suo Bin like he’s an idiot..

The child is just a little premature after trauma.

Suo Bin felt his nose. ‘Don’t ask, boss, or I’ll let No. 3 bring Professor Wei directly to us?’

Chen Chengduo looked down at the spacecraft’s wreckage in a strange way and shook his head.

Although their surroundings are safe at present, it is not safe all the way. If Professor Wei had an accident along the way, the trouble would be great.

Chen Chengduo listened to the sound of his family’s Warpet  gnawing on something in his backpack. It was also the feeling of bliss to the soul. Suddenly, he had some inexplicable insights into the structure of the spacecraft. It was like knocking on a door. The complicated theories in the backpack had a breakthrough.

Chen Chengduo gritted his teeth trying to discern the structure of the data transmitter, and then controlled his  metal/gold ability to pull apart the wreckage of the surrounding spacecraft aside, crushing one of the box-shaped things.

After that, Chen Chengduo grabbed his backpack and reached for the disobedient hamster inside.

Chen Chengduo was really angry, but he could only take a deep breath when he saw Shu Xiaohui struggling to hold his walnut and guardedly looking at him with his head held high. Next time when he sees Professor Wei, he would definitely have the professor formulate a plan on how to protect his little warpet.
